In this episode, we speak with Rachele Louis, a former successful career architect who wanted to understand how to get money to finance the thing she wanted to build. She decided to return to school to earn her MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
She is the co-founder of LifeWeb360. LifeWeb360 is a product of her entrepreneurial class while a student. She and her co-founder performed market research and spoke with people who had lost a loved one. Along with her co-founder, they identified a problem with people having difficulty capturing and preserving “fading memories.” People weren’t able to capture the memories of their loved ones. As a result, they created a new platform, LifeWeb360.
LifeWeb360 is a digital platform where you can collaborate with other people to create an online collection of memories of a lost loved one so that you can look back on them years later and reminisce about all the good times you’ve had together. Our world is increasingly digitized, and it’s more important than ever to have a place to record your memories.
They have reinvented the way people think about memorializing a loved one who has passed. And they’ve developed a great digital obituary that provides excellent depth and breadth to a loved one’s life.
Since LifeWeb360 was first launched in Jan 2020, hundreds of LifeWebs and thousands of memories have been captured on the platform. Recently, the pandemic accelerated their ability to get the word out about the platform. The loved ones of Harvard Business School professor Clayton Christensen (The Innovator’s Dilemma) used the LifeWeb360 website.
She also talks about the company’s content marketing strategy. They use SEO to drive traffic to their website. They also acquire new customers from those who have used the platform for other’s loved ones and are looking for a LifeWeb for their loved ones.
Her story is inspiring – and offers a practical roadmap for others who want to make their dreams a reality.
